This place is situated in the city of Bahawalpur, Punjab Province, Pakistan. It was built in 1872 and completed in 1875. There are different fictions about this place among which the famous is: This place was built by Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan, also known as Shah Jahan of Bahawalpur, "because he was interested of building beautiful and monumental buildings like Shah Jahan", for his wife. But they could not spend more than one night in the place because an adjoining graveyard was seen from the balcony of the Mahal. Therefore his wife refused to live here and it remained unused.
This place is very beautiful for photography, but because of lack of publicity it has been hidden from the local as well as international visitors.
